With many awards under its belt this winery is among the best of the best when it comes to wine in the Okanagan.
Blind Tiger Vineyards
If you like the idea of an organic vineyard do not miss out on this quaint family run winery located in beautiful Lake Country a stones throw from Penticton. New to the Okanagan wine scene opening in 2015 this is one to add to your list. Plan for a Friday and enjoy wine, wood fire pizza, live music and warm summer evenings overlooking the lake.
50th Parallel Estate
With an amazing landscape and modern atmosphere 50th Parallel Estates is not one to overlook when touring the Okanagan wineries. If you like a good Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer, Rieslingor Chardonnay you will love what this winery offers. Stay for brunch or dinner. Tables overlook the vineyards with Lake Okanagan in the background. It is country charming with the elegance of fine dining.
A family-run boutique winery Arrowleaf Cellars believes in going local sourcing its grapes from Lake Country and the Okanagan Valley. Plan a tour and stay for lunch. Order food from their bakery or kitchen or pack your own food and feast on the vineyard and lake views while sitting on their picnic tables in a park-like setting. Bring your dogs along for the ultimate day.
The Chase Wines
One of the newer wineries on the scene with panoramic vistas including the vineyard, orchards and Okanagan Lake. Focused more on the white wines if you are a fan of Pinot Grigio, Riesling, Gewürztraminer and Chardonnay this winery is worth checking out. The Garden Bistro has a seasonally inspired menu with fresh vegetables harvested from their own garden and other ingredients sourced locally.
If you have spent the day touring Lake Country wineries but feel like venturing a bit further this Kelowna estate winery is a good choice. With a well-developed property and an open air restaurant with picturesque lake and valley scenery. Dress up for a nice dinner in the Old Vines Restaurant rated one of Canada’s top 10 restaurants. Drop in to their busy wine tasting bar.
Indigenous World Winery
An award winning winery with an indigenous influence this venue is one to add to your tour. Friendly and knowledgeable staff make your wine tasting experience that much better. Only the best grapes are selected from the Okanagan and Similkameen Valleys translating into great wine selections. Summerhill Pyramid Winery
A winery specializing in organic wines Summerhill creates great wines from organically and biodynamically grown grapes from the Okanagan.
